Abstract

The development of effective photoanode materials with one-dimensional (1D) nanostructure provides promising scheme to fabricate efficient energy conversion device of DSSC. An innovation of PAN/TiO2 nanofibers was prepared by electrospinning method. In our work, the photoanode was produced with various time deposition of electrospinning to study their effecton the photocurrent of DSSC. Photodetector demonstrates the current of photogenerated charge carrier as well as a photo switch effect. These studies revealed that the photocurrent properties of DSSC depend on the photoanode thickness of PAN/TiO2 composite. Further, the system fabricated during 60 min deposition possessed the highest photocurrent performance. © 2019 The Author(s). Published by Elsevier Ltd.
