This study aims to determine the response of students participating in learning activities by applying the Project Base Learning (PjBL) model based on outdoor learning in innovation diffusion courses. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method by direct observation and documentation. The instrument used was the observation sheet and student response questionnaire. The results showed a student response of 87.1% with the criteria of strongly agreeing to the PjBL model based on outdoor learning. PjBL outside the room was in the form of training, counselling and group discussion forums. © 2019, Primrose Hall Publishing Group.
