Abstract

The over use of vehicles in Indonesia produces heat generated by the engine. This heat source can be used as an electric generator with the help of thermoelectrics. Cu and S based materials are one of the choices. We were prepared using the polyol method. We started with dissolving tetraethylene glycol, the argon gas flow and heated at 200 °C followed by centrifugation. The obtained nanomaterials were examined their properties using X-RD, UV-VIS, and 2-probe I-V measurements. The UV-vis test showed that the bandgap CuS thin film energy decreased with a value of around 2.90-2.98 eV. © 2019 The Author(s). Published by Elsevier Ltd.
