Abstract

This research focuses on the development of teaching materials of Sasak literature using Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) strategy on Senior High School students majoring in language. This research applies Research and Development (R & D) with the ADDIE model. It consists of 5 stages, i.e., analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instrument of data collection in this research was a questionnaire. The validation result, by the expert in teaching materials development, obtained a mean score of 4.64, which is in the excellent category. The validation result by the expert, in teaching materials design, obtained a mean score of 3.35, which is in the good category. The validation result by the expert, in instructional media, obtained a mean score of 3.84, which is in good categories. The results of practitioners' assessment of the Indonesian language and literature study obtained a mean score of 4.48, which is in the excellent category. The results of individual assessments (by one student) obtained a mean score of 4.14, which is in a very good category. The results of the small group assessment (by ten students) obtained a mean score of 3.97, which is in the good category. The results of the field assessments by thirty-three participants obtained a mean score of 3.78, which is in the good category. © 2019, Primrose Hall Publishing Group.
