Previous research has been widely reported on the use of WebQuest in learning activities. However, no research reported the use of WebQuest for lower-order thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the use of WebQuest for lower-order thinking skills. The research method was quasi-experimental with two groups of participants were selected by cluster random sampling. The two groups are the experimental group using WebQuest and the control group using traditional methods in learning. Participants' study was the 63 third-year student majoring in Education Technology at the State University of Malang network technology subjects. The instruments used to collect data were pre and post-test scores. The results show that learning using WebQuest is superior to traditional methods for lower-order thinking skills. © 2019, Primrose Hall Publishing Group.
