This study aimed to determine differences of Cd levels in sediments and C. faba Hinds based on the distance of sampling and the relationship of Cd levels in sediments and C. faba Hinds. This research was conducted in June 2019. The technique sampling was Purposive Sampling; data analysis used the One Way Anova and Pearson Correlation. The plot 1 and 2 were in the estuary, plots 3 and 4 were the meeting area between the river and the sea, while plot 5 was in the sea. The results were the levels of Cd in sediments in the confluence area between rivers and the sea had the highest average of 2.16 mg/kg which was significantly different from the Cd levels in the sediment upstream as far as 490 m and downstream as far as 160 m. The levels of Cd in C. faba Hinds in the plots 1 to 5 did not differ significantly had a mean with a range of 1.47 - 2.55 mg/kg. The mean Cd levels in C. faba Hinds exceeded the threshold of consumption eligibility according to BPOM 2017. The relationship of Cd levels in sediments and C. faba Hinds showed that there was no significant relationship. © 2020 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
