Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the factors that affect the teaching skills of prospective vocational education teachers; (2) to analyze the factors that affect the teaching efficacy of prospective vocational education teachers; (3) developing the SA'I learning model innovation; and (4) testing the level of attractiveness of the SA'I learning innovation model. The research method is the RD method to find the factors that influence the teaching efficacy and teaching skills of prospective vocational education teachers. Informants include lecturers, students, and stakeholders. The results and findings of this study include: (1) factors of vocational education teacher candidates, namely personality characteristics, classroom management, teaching experience, time management, and teaching materials; (2) the factors of the teaching of vocational education teachers; and (3) SA'I innovation learning model has attractiveness and high level of feasibility. © 2020 IEEE.
