Abstract

This study aims to: (1) map the components that affect public awareness of educational problems; (2) examining the level of technology attractiveness of the design of smart consultation-based e-government system; and (3) testing the technology effectiveness of the design of smart consultation based on e-government system to increase citizen's awareness of education. The research method used is Research and development (RD. The initial stage is carried out by developing the design of smart consultation-based e-government system technology. Furthermore, the attractiveness test is carried out by online program experts and online program design experts. The final stage is the effectiveness test with experimental class and control class. The findings in this study include: (1) components that affect public awareness of educational problems, namely individual motivation, social conditions, family economic conditions, external motivation, and accessibility; (2) technology the design of smart consultation-The based e-government system developed has a good level of attractiveness; and (3) the technology of the design of smart consultation-based e-government system developed has proven effective in increasing citizen's awareness of education. © 2020 IEEE.
