Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop Quadcopter Spreader Drone technology as an innovation of crystal fertilizer thrower; (2) analyzing the variation of weight lifting force from Quadcopter Spreader Drone technology as an innovation of crystal fertilizer thrower; (3) analyzing the variation of the total electrical power of the Quadcopter Spreader Drone technology as a crystal fertilizer thrower innovation and (4) testing the effectiveness of the Quadcopter Spreader Drone as a crystal fertilizer launcher innovation as modern agricultural technology. The method in this study using the R D method includes five stages, namely: (1) material analysis; (2) design and design; (3) manufacture and assembly; (4) strength testing; and (5) test results and analysis. The results of this study include: (1) the Quadcopter Spreader Drone technology that was developed with a specification of a brushless DC BLDC motor MN4014400KV with a max continuous current of 30A and a Max Continuous Power of 900W with an ESC 40A and a carbon propeller measuring 15x5.5;(2) at a voltage of 22. 2V capable of lifting a payload of 3-5 Kg; and (3) the developed Quadcopter Spreader Drone technology can complete the mission of spreading fertilizer on 1 Ha land in less than 60 minutes. © 2021 IEEE.
