This study aims to develop e-learning teaching materials based on guided inquiry models equipped with augmented reality so can be used for distance learning in pandemic COVID-19. This study uses a multimedia instructional design model by Lee & Owens with stages (1) analysis/assessment, (2) design, and (3) development. This study involved one chemistry lecturer and one chemistry teacher as validators. The subject of the readability test were 20 students of grade XI in SMAN 10 Malang. Data from the validation test and readability test then were analyzed by qualitative descriptive techniques. Results of the validation for media aspects acquired an average score of 91.2%, 85.5% for material aspects, and 88.4% for readability test. The teaching materials categorized as very excellent. It can be concluded that the teaching material can be used in the learning process especially on hydrocarbon topic. © 2021 Author(s).
