The development of information technology is now very rapid; likewise, the application of information technology in mathematics education. So that at this time has been widely applied mathematics learning assisted by information technology. However, it needs to be researched about how students' understanding and students' activeness in information technology-assisted learning. This study aims to examine the understanding of concepts and student activity through the application of ICT-based learning media with GeoGebra software on material trigonometric ratio. This research was conducted at Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Vocational High School in the academic year 2020/2021. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were 12 students from grade X. Based on the results of the analysis, students can find the concepts of sines, cosines, and tangents. Students also can solve problems related to real-life by applying the concept. The observation of student activeness obtained an average percentage of 74.14%, which means that student activity is in a good category. © 2021 Author(s).
