Science and technology which continue to develop rapidly have made technological literacy one of the skills that must be mastered in the 21st century, especially at the university student level. Technological literacy can be learned through biotechnology learning. Biotechnology learning can be using molecular docking analysis of clove active compounds-based modules that are integrated by inquiry learning models to improve student technology literacy. Inquiry modules that were developed using the ADDIE model have five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research method was pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest study design and using the observation sheet of technology literacy as an instrument of data collection. The test results of the effectiveness of the inquiry module obtained an N-gain value of 0.69 with the category of module effectiveness to improve student technology literacy. Descriptive analysis results also showed that inquiry modules were able to improve student technology literacy based on four aspects, namely aspects of computer-based technology, design aspects, aspects of selection and use, and product aspects. © 2021 Author(s).
