Abstract

High rainfall and the environment is covered with garbage which is the cause of flooding. Water that rises to the road surface can erode the asphalt into holes and make the road slippery and cause accidents. Congestion also occurs due to flooding, which requires motorists to walk slowly. Therefore, the Water Level Sensor is used to measure the water level by reading the resistance generated by the water hitting the striped plate on the sensor, the more water, the smaller the resistance and vice versa. Assisted by the android-based application 'CAK DAM' will provide real-time water level reports. The sensor detects the water level on a flood-prone road so that drivers can know the condition of the area. If the water level exceeds the first predetermined limit, the driver will be advised to be careful crossing the road. If the water level exceeds the limit both drivers are directed to pass another shortcut in the application. This tool is useful during the rainy season to minimize the impact of flooding and casualties on the road. © 2021 IEEE.
