Creative thinking skills are one of the skills needed in the 21st century. This study aimed to investigate the Reading-Concept Mapping-Student Team Achievement Division (Remap-STAD) in promoting students' creative thinking skills. This quasi-experiment employed a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study participants consisted of 102 eleventh grade students from the Natural Science Program of SMAN 4 Malang Indonesia. The experimental, positive control, and negative control groups were selected based on the homogeneity and normality tests results. The instrument used to measure the participants' creative thinking skills was essay tests. The results of the tests were analyzed using a one-way ANCOVA analysis. This study's findings showed that Remap STAD had the potential to promote students' creative thinking skills. © 2021 Author(s).
