Abstract

Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) is a fuel cell that can be a future energy source because the side product is just heat and water. PEMFC has a simple structure, operated at low temperature, and flexible. In Indonesia, the development and implementation of PEMFC are still limited and very expensive. To studied PEMFC furthermore, a web-based Robo-PEM was developed in the previous research. That web-based integration with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) could be used as learning media. Users can access the material in web-based Robo-PEM by using an internet connection, but users have an insufficient internet connection. Considering that problem, this paper studied about integrating Robo-PEM into Augmented Reality (AR) Marker-less in a smartphone application. Robo-PEM smartphone applications integrated with AR could be suitable for students to practice PEMFC without an internet connection. The Robo-PEM smartphone application is tested on several smartphones and can work successfully. © 2021 IEEE.
