Abstract

Mung bean plants are rich in nutrients because they are a source of vegetable protein, vitamins A, B1, C, E and other substances. Due to the very useful content of mung beans, optimizing mung beans is important. To accelerate the optimization of the growth rate of mung beans, various studies have been carried out as the way to find the most effective variables. This tool uses the mung bean growth optimization method by considering the optimal growth set point of humidity and temperature control with the help of DHT11 and YL-69 sensors as feedback, Node MCU as a controller, Firebase as a middle layer and storage medium and Android as an interface. The results of the tool succeeded in increasing the growth speed of mung beans in 7 days by 165% compared to the conventional methods. The objective of this study was to determine the most influential variable on the growth of mung bean and how much influence the variable had on the growth rate of mung bean. Ultimately, the proposed tools worked properly as the mung bean grew more effective than that in usual planting system. © 2021 IEEE.
