Abstract

Research on ubiquitous learning is various although it is limited to selected country. This study purposes mapping the research trend in ubiquitous learning. Bibliometric techniques used to gather data from Scopus as the secondary. VOSviewer program and the analyses search results function on Scopus are used to visualize and analyze data. This study analyzed 1, 566 scientific articles published from 1993 to 2020. Based on the result, Monash University turn into the most dynamic institutions, and Hiroaki Ogata became the enthusiastic individual scientist in ubiquitous learning research. Lecture Notes in Computer Science were the most studied and published outlets of ubiquitous learning research. Five category maps of collaborative researchers were found in this research. Based on the result, over twenty-seven years of publication, this research recommends a grouping research themes of ubiquitous learning: Knowledge management, Application of Social networking, Learning process, Information technology, Ubiquitous technology, and Mobile learning process, shortened as KALIUM research themes. © 2021 IEEE.
