Abstract

The aim of this research was to compare environmental awareness based on class using ecosystem module of inquiry with fishpond as a learning resources and worksheet. The teaching material used in school was only teaching material from department of education and fishpond as a learning resources are not available. Application of curriculum requires the utilization of local potential as a learning resource through module. The subject used in this research was grade X IPA 3 (experiment class) and grade X IPA 4 (control class). The research was a quasi-experiment using non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. The result of this research using Ancova showed that p value is less than a or p a (a = 0.05) that means Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. It was concluded that there was a difference of environmental attitude of students using ecosystem module based on inquiry with fishpond as a learning resources and worksheet. Pretest of student environmental attitude affected students' environmental attitude. Therefore, the learning empowered environmental attitude of students better was the class using ecosystem module. © 2021 Author(s).
