Abstract

In recent years, the business incubator as a hub for promoting entrepreneurship and innovation grew rapidly worldwide. Nevertheless, there are still a few business incubators in Indonesia that focus on developing sharia businesses and halal products. This study aims to design a platform that provide Sharia business incubator on increasing Halal product competitiveness. This study purpose to design a Sharia incubator business or "SB-Lab Incubator"as digital platform on increasing the flexibility on developing business on Halal product. This study uses the User Centered Design (UCD) method that combines investigative (interview and survey) and generative (brainstorming) elements. the feature of (SB-Lab) provide (1) information about Halal license and certification, (2) online course about halal product with Halal expert, (3) discussion forum as community, (4) product exhibition/product display, (5) Halal event, and (6) newsThe UCD consist of four stages, namely, (1) understand the context of use, (2) specify user requirements, (3) design solutions, and (4) evaluate. The SUS test and EOQ test conclude that the platform design is acceptable. © 2022 IEEE.
