The family is the main center of role models for children. The mentally unstable condition of the single mother can also affect the child's development. This study used qualitative research with a quasi-experimental model and a pretest-post-test nonequivalent group method. Participants in this study were 60 single mothers aged 19-40 years who focused on Malang City. The sampling technique used is Total Sampling. The experimental procedure is structured in four steps. The study's results on the effectiveness of the Mental Health-Based Android application and mental health in the application moderated by counseling services showed a significant difference of 0.05, so counseling services for single mothers positively influenced maternal mental health. © 2022 IEEE.
