Abstract

The low level of activity of MPA Jonggring Salaka members who participated in the 'Division Rally' education and training program led to a review of one component of the education and training program, that component is curriculum. This study develops a gamified design of education and training program for members of MPA Jonggring Salaka. The purpose of this paper is to explain the development of gamification design of the MPA Jonggring Salaka education and training 'Division Rally' program, as well as to see whether students will view this gamification positively or not. Based on a survey of the gamification development literature, this gamification development was designed using a game-based learning model by Rosemary Garris, where in this development there are three development stages, Input, Process, and Output. In this study, the gamification design was tested on 29 students to see their response to the gamification of education and training program that developed by the researcher. This survey data includes quantitative with Likert scale and qualitative with student comments. The results showed that the design of education and training programs received a positive response from students, because their hard work and learning felt rewarded by the existence of gamification. © 2022 IEEE.
