This research was conducted using bibliometric historiography with a visualization approach to comprehensively understand the evolution of the field of e-Leadership. The data source of this research is a database obtained from the Web of Science, a total of 185 documents from 1997 to 2022. The software used to analyze the data is HistCite. Descriptive statistical analysis and bibliometric historiography are used to determine development trends in the field of e-Leadership. This study presents a significant paper, which is categorized as a paper that has a major influence on the development of the field of e-Leadership, based on the Local Citation Score. Practical and theoretical implications are discussed, and future research possibilities have also been suggested. © 2023 IEEE.
