Abstract

Technological developments trigger various developments of technology-based mathematics learning media. Various applications are also available to be used in the development of mathematics learning media, including the Articulate Storyline and GeoGebra applications. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on Articulate Storyline and GeoGebra on the surface area of the tube. This research is development research that using the development steps of Lee & Owens (2004) as follows: (1) assessment and analysis of developed media needs, (2) product design developed, (3) product development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The research subjects in the product trial were 12 students of the mathematics education department at the State University of Malang. The results show that the learning media based on Articulate Storyline and GeoGebra on the surface area of the tube is valid with a material validation score of 3.76 and a media validation score of 3.72 and has a high level of practicality with a score of 3.81. Thus, the learning media developed is suitable for use in learning mathematics. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
