This research aims to develop educational media products based on Augmented Reality (AR) on the material of Electrolysis Cells in Basic Chemistry II courses that are suitable for use. Research includes research and development (R&D). The development model is ADDIE. The stages carried out are analysis, design, development and evaluation. The data collected are qualitative and quantitative. Data collection method with questionnaires. Data analysis method is descriptive analysis. The results of this research are learning media consisting of the Electrolysis Cell book and a scanner application installed on a smartphone called Chem AR. The results of the feasibility test produce percentages in terms of material and media are 97.65% and 92.17%. Students consider that AR-based media is interesting to use because its use is like playing online games on smartphones. It may be concluded that the Augmented Reality included media with inside the Electrolysis Cell fabric is said very viable for use in learning. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc..
