Numerical modeling screwed connection on cold-formed steel subjected flexural load has been investigated in this paper. The aim of this paper is to predict the structural responses of screwed connection under flexural load. Failure of the connection was modeled using continuum mechanic's approach. The static response of screwed connection on cold- formed steel subjected flexural load was successfully predicted. The modeling results have a good correlation with the theoretical analysis. The failure connection of screwed cold-formed steel beam is affected by simultaneously factors of local buckling and nominal strength of screws. The failure modes can be expected on a screw as the screws thread failure. © 2022 Author(s).
