Abstract

The tourism sector continues to adapt to technological advances. Starting from lack of recognition of halal tourism in Bali, it is necessary to have an effective and efficient promotional media in the development and promotion strategy. This study aims to develop a halal tourism information system assisted by virtual reality. This study used research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This study found that BStations media is feasible to be used practically as a media for tourism promotion in Bali. Product development of this application can help tourists get tourist information quickly and easily, and can be used as an effective, efficient and sustainable strategy for promoting halal tourism in Bali. © 2023 IEEE.
