Abstract

In the 21st-century there are skills which must be fulfilled along with the development of time and with various advances in the fields of information, communication, and technology (ICT). The demands of digital transformation in the field of education are more increasing with the COVID-19 pandemic which is dominated by online learning. Students must have competence in understanding concepts to solve problems. Concept will be easier to understand if it comes from concrete things which are close to students' daily lives. Electronic module based on problem-based learning is teaching material in digital form which is in accordance with students' need and developments of information, communication, and technology (ICT) and depart from problem to help students understand concept through problem solving process. The purpose of this research is to develop an electronic module based on problem-based learning on the second grade of junior high school (class VIII) vibration and wave material which is valid and feasible to use. This type of research is research and development (R & D). The research model is used ADDIE by Lee & Owens which consists of analysis, design, development, and evaluation stages. The product of this research is through validation tests (material and media) and readability. Based on the research results, the product developed is valid and feasible to use with very feasible criteria. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
