The Majapahit (Crescentia cujete L.) plant is one of the plants in Indonesia that is underutilized by Indonesians. Research to understand the potential of the plant can be done by analyzing the components of secondary metabolites in the plant. In this study, an analysis of secondary metabolites that has the potential as an anticancer was carried out in the ethanol extract of the Majapahit plant. Identification of secondary metabolites was carried out using LCMS. In this study, in silico analysis was also conducted to understand the cytotoxicity of the compounds that have potential as anticancer against cancer cell lines using CLC-pred tools. Based on the detection, it was known that 23 compounds may have potential as an anticancer, namely; cinnamic acid, citral, citronellal, β-amyrin, lupeol, Betullinic acid, Eugenol, Chlorogenic acid, Gallic acid, Umbelliferon, p-coumaric acid, Psoralen, Marmachin, Imperatorin, Quercetin, Acacetin 7-rutinoside, Kaemferol 3-O rhamnoside, Kaemferol3 -[6”-(3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl)glucoside], Kaemferol 3-[6”-(3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl) glucoside] -7-glucoside, Didymin, Diosmin, Hesperidin, Narirutin 4' - glucoside, and Rutin. Based on cytotoxicity analysis using CLC-pred tools, it is known that the compounds have cytotoxic activity towards several different cancer cell lines, such as; IGROV-1, K562, NCI-H322M, RPMI-8226, Malme-3M, NCI-H226, A498, SK-MEL-28, M14, NCI-H23, 8505C, MKN-7, Hs683, MCF7, HL-60, NCI-H187, NCI-H838, HepG2, 8505C, FaDu, SK-MEL-2, DLD-1, SW480, SK-MEL-1, and Caco-2. Based on the in silico analysis, in vivo tests using cancer cell lines are necessary. It was to determine the cytotoxic effect against the cell lines significantly. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
