The use of learning media is an important issue in the current era. The 360-year virtual reality video-based media approach is undeniable topic nowadays. This study aims to explore the initial response related to the 360-degree virtual reality video development product on the topic of history in elementary schools in Indonesia. The first step of the research using ADDIE model for research and development. The second step of this research used a survey method to gather the data. The respondents involved were 102 elementary school teachers in Indonesia. The instrument used was a teacher readiness questionnaire related to VR which showed that 98% of teachers expressed readiness to use VR in learning history material in elementary schools. Further discussions related to the stages of video development are presented in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.
