Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic caused many problems of learning process. Regarding to this situation, the Indonesian government has decided that schools should implement distance learning. The negative impact of closing schools is learning loss for learners. There are two factors affecting learning loss. First is internal factors which refer to the learner's characteristics like motivation, attitude, the interest of the learners about what they learn in the classroom. The second one is external factors related to the instructional process, instructional strategies, media and technology used to deliver the materials and learning environment. To overcome the problems of learning loss, teachers need to empower their learning with technology. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
