User experience (UX) is a pivotal determinant of a product's success in the competitive market. Acknowledging this significance, the Short User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ-S), a succinct variant of the UEQ, emerges as a fitting assessment tool. This research employs the UEQ-S questionnaire to gauge user experiences within the context of a web-based Thesis Management System called SINTESIS. With its 8-item structure, UEQ-S captures users' perspectives across a 7-point scale, allowing for quick and comprehensive evaluations. Twenty master student participants were involved as respondents to this study. The reliability of gathered data was rigorously evaluated using Cronbach's alpha measurement. The empirical findings from conducted experiments illuminate that the developed system elicits positive feedback, indicating a favorable reception. The outcomes underscore the utility of UEQ-S as a potent instrument for quantifying and optimizing user experiences, facilitating informed design decisions, and fostering enhanced product quality. © 2023 IEEE.
