Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an essential component of the industrial era 4.0. The period of industrialization, which refers to the development of Industry 4.0, is a reincarnation of steam engines, electricity, assembly, and computerization that have changed in a short time. One of the uses of IoT is smart meters that can record and communicate data due to monitoring. Various industries have started large digitalization initiatives. Although IoT has a low cost in digitization, the ultimate success is determined by the successful implementation of new sensors. Therefore, existing requirements and constraints will compete with the performance needs defined by the application or business model that uses it. Optimization of digital measurement of electrical quantities using the PZEM-004T sensor on the ESP 8266 IoT device provides poor voltage measurement accuracy, but current measurement already has a good accuracy of 0.01. So, improving the trainer from the side of the voltage gauge circuit is necessary. © 2023 IEEE.
