The industrial revolution boosted the use of assessments as well as activities involving online-based technology. Quizizz is one of the necessary and reliable online resources in this situation, while Iteman is a legacy software for classical test theory in item analysis. The purpose of this study is to develop an application based on classical test theory in a loosely-coupled design, to compare the application with the legacy software, and to implement the application with existing online platform. The method of research carried out includes the applied approach, compatibility testing with legacy software, and connectivity application with external application. The results showed that the proposed application can be used as substitute for legacy software and have the acceptable connectivity with another web-based application. The proposed application carried out the functionality in a loosely-coupled approach. © 2023 IEEE.
