The Concepts in chemistry are divided into 3 interrelated aspects. They are microscopic, macroscopic and symbolic aspects. Stoichiometry is one of the topics in chemistry which includes 3 aspects of chemical representation. This study aims to determine the relationship between understanding the concept of stoichiometry with chemical representation, chemical representation with representational competence, and the relationship between the three variables. This study used a correlational methods and involved a total sample of 131 students. The results were analyzed using a multivariant correlation test and obtained a significance of 0.000. The significance value indicates a relationship between understanding the concept of stoichiometry and chemical representation, chemical representation in stoichiometry with representational competence, and the relationship between understanding the concept of stoichiometry and chemical representation on the representational competence. It's mean that the student has good representational competences and a complete understanding of the topic. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
