Abstract

This research aims to describe the mathematics learning of addition and subtraction of fractions based on numeracy literacy for elementary school students using an electronic module. The participants of this study were ten third graders at one of the elementary schools in Indonesia. Data collection techniques, through tests to students and interviews with teachers. The results conclude that the concept of summation and reduction of fractions in electronic modules presented in concrete object images can help third graders of elementary school. Furthermore, this study found that the electronic module aims to help them think quickly about the addition and subtraction of fractions. © 2023 Author(s).
