Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the wavelength on light intensity in the lemon and banana extract given a magnetic field. This research was carried out by measuring the light intensity of the laser light released into the fruit extract sample. The extract from the fruit had been given an external magnetic field to determine its effect on light intensity. The same was carried out for light sources with different wavelengths. Samples were taken from lemon and banana fruit extracts made by the maceration (immersion) method. Based on the data obtained, the magnetic field affects the intensity of the light transmitted to the two samples. The results for the lemon fruit extract show that only the green laser presents significant change under the influence of a magnetic field. The green laser for both extracts show proportional light intensity to the external magnetic field applied to the fruit extract. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
