Agriculture is an important sector for the Indonesian economy and food security. Therefore, it is appropriate if the agricultural sector continues to develop and attracts the attention of the government. This is due to the fact that many challenges and factors, such as pests, continue to impede agricultural production in Indonesia. As a result, efforts are required to overcome it. One possible countermeasure is to create a smart pest repellent machine that uses solar power and ultrasonic sensors. This tool was created to increase agricultural productivity by utilizing solar power as an energy source and ultrasonic sound frequency to repel rats, birds, insects, and other rice pests. Furthermore, the frequency of the sound produced can stimulate plant growth. The method was implemented in four stages: literature review, tool design, tool development, and testing. The findings are as follows: 1) the effectiveness of smart pest repellent is best at a distance of 10-75 meters, 2) the tool's effectiveness in reducing rice pests is 60%, and 3) there is a positive and significant relationship R 0.66 sig 0.000 between the use of the tool and yields. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
