The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of polarization on the stability of Bragg gratings fabricated in high hydrogenation optical fibers. Bragg Grating is fabricated using phase mask technique. The fabricated Bragg Gratings consist of two types of length, respectively, 4 and 20 mm. The polarization state is changed using a polarization controller. The results indicated that the polarization state affects the results of measurements of the reflectivity and wavelength of Bragg. Although this effect is small, it has a very significant effect on the spectral measurement results. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
