Abstract

Research about the change of the laser polarization rotation angle with a wavelength of 645 nm when passed through pure liquid distilled water, chlorophyll and honey has been done. The given magnetic fields for each sample of distilled water, chlorophyll and honey were 1.8, 1.6 and 1.6 T, respectively. The results obtained show that the distilled water and honey showed a positive sign of rotation angle of polarization (dextro) with a water polarization rotation angle greater than that of honey, which showed that the magnetic field changes were directly proportional to the changes in the laser light polarization rotation angle. The chlorophyll liquid shows a polarization rotation angle which is negative (levo), which indicates that chlorophyll liquid can become an optically active liquid when given an external magnetic field. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
