Abstract

One of the most widely used learning media in Biology subjects in high school or science subject in junior high school was preserved specimen. Preserved specimen is living things (animal or plant) that is preserved for identification and classification purposes. Resin and acrylic blocks were used as media for specimen preservation since it protected specimens from decaying. QR code (Quick Response) is a quick access code that is simple, interactive, and easy to access. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential use of QR coding on preserved Bryophyta specimens that had existed in the market. The research method used was ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The result shown that QR coding on preserved Bryophyta specimen mounted in resin block that comes with a website containing information about the species has potential to be developed and produced in industrial scale. © 2023 Author(s).
