CHEM AR: Augmented reality assisted learning media on electrolysis cell material

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials products based on Augmented Reality (AR) on Electrolysis Cell material that are suitable for use by students of the Science Study Program. Research is research and development with the ADDIE model. The stages carried out are analysis, design, development and evaluation. The type of data in this study is qualitative data in the form of comments and suggestions and quantitative data in the form of validation assessment scores. The data collection technique is a questionnaire questionnaire. The research produced a product in the form of a book with a marker and a scanner application called Chem AR. The result of validation in terms of material is 97.65% and in terms of media is 93.64%. Student responses resulted in readability with positive comments. It can be concluded that AR-based teaching materials in the Electrolysis Cell material developed are classified as eligible for use in lectures. © 2023 Author(s).
