Seawater is the most important part of a marine ecosystem because they are a source of food and shelter for almost all marine life. It can be used as a bio-indicator against climate change and can see the number of pollution levels in the environment because the depletion of oxygen is a direct indicator of the disposal of industrial waste around the seawater. We prepared sample after chemical separation, the measurement of δD and δ18O isotope ratios in the 14 samples of Prigi seawater was then carried out at the Earth and Environment Laboratory, Central Isotope and Radiation Technology (PAIR) Applications BATAN, Jakarta using equipment liquid water stable isotope analyzer (LWSIA)-Los Gatos Research (LGR) DLT-100. From the analysis of isotope composition oxygen-18 and deuterium, it can be determined the group of water sources surrounding Prigi Seawater. Based on its oxygen-18 and deuterium, it was grouped into six sources. The six groups from Prigi-1 to Prigi-14 sample have a composition range δ18O = -0.76‰ up to 0.56‰. This research was firstly reported as fundamental monitoring of the anthropogenic and natural sources associated with the climate prediction from seawater in the Gulf of Prigi. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
