Abstract

Simulation of the behavior of ferrofluid in a container in a magnetic field with different poles has been carried out to determine the possibility of ferrofluid levitation in the container under two permanent magnetics sources. The analysis was carried out analytically using the Python Magpylib library. The method used is to observe the distribution of the total ferrofluid force for the balance of the ferrofluid container load and the weight of the ferrofluid itself. The analysis results show that the possibility of magnetic levitation of ferrofluid materials can be realized if the maximum size of the ferrofluid is 25% from the magnetic source. © 2023 Author(s).
