Magpylib is a Python library capable of calculating magnetic fields from various sources. This library is free to be beneficial for research on magnetics. Magpylib was used to analyze ferrofluid in a uniform cylindrical magnetic source as a test related to the research results. Other researchers carried out the research and analyzed using COMSOL Multiphysics software and Matlab, and both paid software. The simulation results show that the results from the Magpylib have the same posture graphically and numerically from paid software, so Magpylib is suitable for magnetic simulation tools. © 2023 Author(s).
