The effect of the addition of Mn doping on MnxFe3-xO4/PEO nanocomposites has been investigated. The synthesis of Fe3O4 nanoparticles was carried out using the iron sand-based coprecipitation method. The results of the structural characterization using XRD showed that there was a shift in the diffraction peak from a lower angle along with the increase in the concentration of Mn doping. XRD results also show that the crystal size distribution of nanocomposites is in the range of 10 - 12 nm. The results of UV-Vis spectroscopy revealed that the absorption peak was at a wavelength of 367 nm with a bandgap range of 2.86 - 2.89 eV. Based on the characterization results, MnxFe3-xO4/PEO nanocomposite with the addition of Mn doping can be developed for electrode application in supercapacitors. © 2023 Author(s).
