Abstract

Parental unemployment poses a significant threat to the well-being and development of children, acting as a ticking time bomb that can trigger adverse childhood experiences. To defuse this time bomb, comprehensive support systems must be in place, including financial assistance, emotional support, educational resources and social integration programmes. © 2023 The Author(s).
