Abstract

Environmental problems are crucial problems that occur in society, one of which is water pollution. One of the water pollutants that many people complain about is pollution in reservoirs. The decline in water quality in reservoirs, one of which is Tunggu Pampang Reservoir, is caused by various community activities around the reservoir but the lack of cleanliness around the reservoir is the main cause of the polluted reservoir. This study aims to see how the water quality in Tunggu Pampang Reservoir is based on its physical and chemical properties, namely by testing several parameters such as temperature, brightness, turbidity, COD, BOD, PH, and heavy metal contents. This study used a purposive sampling technique by taking data at three different stations. The results of testing the water quality in Tunggu Pampang Reservoir based on the water quality status are included in light pollution, so it is safe use by the surrounding community. However, it still needs control so that pollution is reduced. © 2023 Author(s).
