Abstract

The swift advancement of information technology has necessitated that educational institutions incorporate technological solutions into their administrative and instructional functions. One such solution is the integration of a thesis management system. Additionally, SISINTA, an all-inclusive web-based platform, was implemented to enhance the management of dissertation projects in educational institutions. The agile Scrum Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) technique was used in the development of SISINTA. This methodology encourages flexibility, adaptability, and continual improvement based on real-time user feedback. Through the use of iterative sprints, SISINTA is always developing and adding new features to better meet the unique requirements of its consumers. Real-time thesis progress tracking, centralized document management, and collaboration tools that improve stakeholder contact are some of SISINTA's key features. This study compares and contrasts SISINTA with other web-based thesis management systems, most of which emphasize cost-effectiveness or development driven by user feedback. Because of its powerful real-time monitoring and centralised management features, SISINTA stands out and works especially well in academic settings where supervision, tracking, and collaboration are essential. The results reveal that SISINTA considerably enhances the organisation, oversight and general efficiency of the thesis management process, making it a good solution for schools wishing to streamline their thesis processes. SISINTA maintains its high degree of adaptability and responsiveness by putting Agile Scrum concepts to use, making sure that it keeps up with the changing needs of instructors and students. © 2024 IEEE.
