The research was based on problems in a classroom during the learning activities related to the students' low learning activities that caused a students' lack of active learning in mathematics. This classroom action research aimed to describe the steps of implementing the jigsaw cooperative learning model with the help of Edmodo to improve students' active learning in the Pythagorean Theorem material. The instruments of this study were student' active learning observation sheets, teacher and student' action observation sheets, tests, interviews, lesson plans, and LKPD assisted by Edmodo. Students' active learning in cycle I gained an average of 58,25% with sufficient criteria, and in cycle II, the average increased to 85,06% with excellent standards. The results of this study show that the application of jigsaw cooperative learning with the help of Edmodo can improve students' active learning through the following steps: (l) origin group formation; (2) different division of problems in each member of the original group; (3) expert group formation; (4) discussing LKPD by expert groups; (5) each member of the expert group returns to the origin group to discuss and match the results; (6) presentation; and (7) quiz. © 2024 Author(s).
