This project devised a design thinking paradigm to provide guidance for the digital transformation of village-owned firms in Indonesia. The study of firm managers in Sumbersekar village yielded valuable information regarding their current utilization of technology, the difficulties they face, and their requirements for training. The proposed methodology of design thinking, which prioritizes the needs and experiences of individuals, offers a structured approach for creating digital capabilities that are specifically adapted to the limitations and challenges faced by village enterprises. The findings emphasize the significance of employing collaborative participatory methods to develop enterprise digital literacy and online systems. This study provides practical resources to assist rural businesses in utilizing digital technologies to achieve expansion and financial viability. © 2024 IEEE.
